Communities up and down the coast have suffered losses. Here’s what happened to my hometowns – St. Stephen/Calais/Milltowns

This was written in 2013 when the future of my hometown looked bleak. Today, properties have passed to the next generation and younger entrepreneurs are buying and fixing up old retail spaces and bringing the potential of new life to downtown St. Stephen, NB on the border with Calais, Maine. This article will need a followup in the coming year one hopes.
